US hangover

The article we readed (read) about the US economy has a particular back ground scenary: the economic crisis that country (and the world) lived in 2007 and 2008. 

2008 was the last year George W Bush was living at the White House. He and his party, the republican party, were striving to rebourne the economic grouth from ashes, and one of the tactics they used was: I am... Sasha Pierce, 2008's Beyonce album, and economic protectionism, of course.

This is a very common conservative strategy, also used by third word countries, communism and dentists.      

Back to the article, I understood that the US was traying to convince China to reduce it's trade deficit. 

And that was a big mistake, because trade also means 'commerce' and 'traffic', which is great; 

but deficit means 'undersupply', 'slippage' and 'indebtedness', and I dont have a single ideia of what these words means. 

In summary, US was living a massive hangover after that party, the republican party, where they served a delicious but really expensive cocktail, the subprime mortgage with vodka. 

And they needed to blame some other country for all that chaos in the bathroom: China! of course.
